Addo National Elephant Park Guided Safari

Addo National Park is indeed a conservation success story and is known for its dense population of free-roaming elephants. It is the third-largest national park in South Africa and offers a malaria-free environment for visitors.

 

In addition to elephants, Addo National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big 7, which encompasses the lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard, elephant, Southern Right Whale and the Great White Shark (in the sea conservation areas). The park's diverse habitat, including plains and sub-tropical thickets, supports a rich ecosystem. Visitors can also spot other animals such as zebra, eland, red hartebeest, as well as a wealth of bird species and reptiles.

 

The expansion and conservation efforts in Addo National Park have played a significant role in preserving and protecting these diverse species, making it a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and conservationists.

Kragga Kamma Safari Park Half day Tour

Kragga Kamma Game Park is a private game reserve located near Port Elizabeth, South Africa. While it is not as large as national parks like Addo, it offers visitors an opportunity to experience wildlife in a smaller, more intimate setting.

 

The park is known for its focus on conservation and education, giving refuge to Lions rescued from Ukraine and a cheetah enclosure where visitors can learn about and observe these magnificent cats.

It is home to a variety of free roaming wildlife species, including white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelope, and a range of bird species, but their Giraffes sightings are stunning!   Visitors have the opportunity to go on guided game drives and see these animals up close.

Overall, Kragga Kamma Safari Park provides a convenient and accessible option for those looking to experience wildlife, with time constraints.

There are many  activities that are available, guests with the help of a guide can choose what to include in their outing.
 

Port Elizabeth City Tours

The Old City reveals a mix of 1820 history in its architecture, surrounded by an artist collaboration of

Vibrant Works immortalising the inspirational life of Nelson and the men and woman fighting along

Side him for the freedom of their people. We showcase some incredible local art talent.

Take a wander along the beachfront, visit the Penguin Rehabilitation Center and Cape Recife lighthouse, drive along thunderbolt reef, and the picturesque Wild side and head out to Schoenmacherskop, the site of the sinking of the Sacramento Ship and cannon reclamation.   Have a bite to eat at the lovely Sacramento Restaurant overlooking the ocean or head to Grass Roof Restaurant with its home produce shop and fresh organic cuisine. Head back passed a township.

Extra Options:

  • Sardinia Bay is known for its stunning white sandy beach that extends for as far as the eye can see, take a short walk, or a little further to the lovely rock pools. 

  • Take a stunning 2 hr walk along a well walked pathway overlooking the rocky pools and ocean between the sandy Sardinia and Schoenmacherskop, stop for a bite to eat at the Sacramento restaurant.

  • Visit a curio/art shop, with an  impressive selection of artwork, lovely gifts and mementos for loved ones back home

Overview 

Arrival at the Lodge in time for an afternoon sunset Safari, the highlights of your stay,  conducted in open 4x4 vehicles by  friendly and professional guides, passionate about Wild Life.

Morning drives depart in time for  sunrise, usually about 3hrs depending on the sightings, the drives always have a snack and drink (coffee or sun downers) and time for a leg stretch.

Lovely full breakfasts on arrival back at the lodge, and a day of relaxation, enjoying the spa, pool or watching the 

animals at the water holes.  Experiencing early morning and evening safaris, provide a unique opportunity to witness the rhythms of the natural world and observe the fascinating behaviours of diurnal and nocturnal animals, and provides a creative canvas for exceptional photographs and memories.

Year round cruises in Nelson Mandela Bay are offered, with an abundance of Bottle nosed Dolphin, home to the highly threatened African Penguin and a myriad of sea creatures.  It is rich in biodiversity and offers sanctuary to the many

Whale species as they slowly make their way up the Indian Ocean to calve in the warmer waters of Mozambique, their viewing times are from June to November.

Cruises out to the islands, are a fun and educational, providing opportunities to observe the  magnificent marine creatures. The tours are led by experienced guides who provide insights into the behaviour, biology, and conservation of the marine environment.
